EVERNA Archon EXOS - Gundam EVE - Season One Plot Part 3 (Episode 52-88)
Episode 52: Attack on Iris
The Union broke the ceasefire by attacking the Alliance's Fireheart Colony Cluster. The specific target was the Iris Sector, which was the most populous of all clusters. Sadly, not all the population evacuated the sector. As usual, the four Archons launched from the Jotunheim, followed by a squadron of Phalanxes. Harbinger, Mephisto, Ashanti, and Vordac fought Avalance, Hachiman, Gatotkaca, and Vorpal in space. The Archons and Gundams were not used to space battle yet, so the battles were slow, individual, and indecisive.
Episode 52-2: Avalance vs. Harbinger
The respect between them made the duelists pull their punches.
Episode 52-3: Gatotkaca vs. Mephisto
Gatotkaca was now immune to Mephisto's illusions, thanks to the psychic barrier system by Andrew Setiadi installed in all the Gundams.
Episode 52-4: Vorpal vs. Ashanti
Both units fought evenly, with few grazes on each other.
Episode 52-5: Hachiman vs. Vordac
The sword fight between Hachiman, with his katana and Vordac with Deathblade Zweihander. Vordac overpowered Hachiman, but Hachiman compensated it with his superior techniques.
Episode 52-6: In the end, Jotunheim and the Dawn Revenants retreated. Someone must've leaked the attack info to the enemies, but who?
Suspicions were directed on Zeyn, the exchanged captive who was now the commander of the Phalanxes.
Episode 53-1: The Trial of Loyalty
Vlad hypnotized Zeyn, but he didn't find any trace of treachery in Zeyn. It was not Zeyn who leaked the information. Yuri didn't blame Vlad or anyone else. He just gave a secret order to Tevaa the huntress to investigate this matter, using her huntress skills.
Episode 53-2:
Tevaa sensed a suspicious behavior from a staff in the DR and tried to arrest her. But the accomodation staff, Lilla Hashimoto fought Tevaa with karate skills like a secret agent. Tevaa stabbed her dagger into Lilla's body, killing her. Yuri rebuked Tevaa because they had lost the chance to interrogate Lilla. One thing for sure, the spy was caught. But Lilla wasn't the only spy in Jotunheim.
Episode 53-3:
The other spy was Hilda Schwann, Sascha Richter's girlfriend and the communications staff. When Sascha was half-sleeping on Hilda's lap, Hilda, through her spy suggestion skills extracted a top secret information from Sascha. It turned out Dietrich was preparing an ultimate weapon secretly in Asteroid Zemeckis, the new base for the Union. It was a long-range cannon nicknamed "The Strong Bow". And the Union was building the beyond ultimate Archon to guard that cannon. The project was coded "Project Apocalypse".
Episode 53-4:
Hilda then relayed the message manually through the Jotunheim janitorial service. And then the janitor relayed that message to the secret relay point on Planet Aesis. From the relay point, the message was relayed to the EVA Lunar Base through a coded message, using the Minovsky Particles or simply "the force" in space. Renee Lacroix received the message decoded by the communication staff, and then relayed it directly to Mike, Andrew, and Desiree.
Episode 54-1: To Cancel the Apocalypse
Michael called for an emergency secret meeting. He told everyone present about the Strong Bow cannon and the Ultimate Archon, the Project Apocalypse. Andrew said they must prevent such project from being completed. The leaked information was partial and incomplete.
Robert Chandler shared his insight that "Strong Bow" was the nickname of a great hero, a muscular and powerful archer in Robert's origin time, the Arcane Age, named Zemeckis de Guille. So, the weapon would be a high energy, very long range cannon designed to destroy a certain target or area within an interplanetary very long range, just as Zemeckis with his bow and arrows. As there was an asteroid named Zemeckis near Planet Aesis, most likely the cannon was in there too.
Episode 54-2: The Misfits
Note: Paul Guzabe, starring Morgan Freeman. Andrew Setiadi, starring Marcelino Lefrandt. Patrick Elgrade, starring Elon Musk.
Paul Guzabe, the Head Scientist of the Union reported that the cores of Ahriman Archon, as well as the Paladin Gundam before, conflicted with the would-be Apocalypse Archon. Dietrich wanted to upgrade Vordac Archon into Apocalypse Archon. But Yuri, knowing that the pilot of the Apocalypse would be Sascha, objected. Dietrich knew that Yuri wanted Vlad to be Apocalypse Archon's pilot, so he decided to secure Yuri and Vlad's loyalty by postponing the building of the Apocalypse Archon. He then revealed that he would like to focus and speed up on the "Plan B" project that was the Strong Bow ultimate cannon, developed in secret in the Zemeckis Asteroid. This surprised even Yuri, Vlad, and the Archon pilots except Sascha.
Episode 54-3: From the Leak to the Surprise
An urgent report came. Tevaa N'yala just decoded a report from her spies, telling about the Alliance fleet moving from the Lunar Base to the space station, New Yvais. It was unclear where the fleet would go from New Yvais. But, by intuition, they must've sniffed about ECU's Project Apocalypse, either the Archon, the Cannon, or both.
So, Dietrich hereby ordered the ECU fleet to mobilize and to intercept the EVA fleet midway, at New Yvais if necessary. the DR launched in Jotunheim in advance to engage the Gundams with the Archons.
Episode 55-1: New Yvais
Naturally, the Hyperion also moved ahead of the fleet and made a transit stop in New Yvais to refuel. But, just as the Hyperion spaceship or mobile suit carrier was not too far from the space station, the Jotunheim showed up. All the Gundams and Archons launched out, and the space battle ensued again.
Episode 55-2: Gatotkaca vs. Ashanti
Episode 55-3: Hachiman vs. Harbinger
Episode 55-4: Vorpal vs. Mephisto
Episode 55-5: Avalance vs. Vordac: Avalance's sword ultimate combo, long range and sword fight only! Vordac overpowered Avalance, but Avalance still held on.
Episode 56: Vordac's Fall
In frustration, Vordac unleashed its ultimate move on Avalance. Avalance also unleashed the Five Elements Cannon on Vordac, piercing it like acupuncture needles. Both mobile suits were badly damaged, forcing both pilots to eject and flew to safety with the jet packs on their space suits.
Part 2: Aegia saved the unconscious Sascha, then handed Sascha to Yannis in Harbinger, which came to collect the wreckage of Vordac. Hachiman also came to collect Aegia and the badly damaged Avalance.
Yannis threatened Aegia and Gin to withdraw and tell the whole Alliance fleet to withdraw. But Gin could only guarantee Hachiman's withdrawal, and the rest was up to the commander, Michael Lee Anderson. Finally, Yannis gave in, as Sascha's safety came first. At last, the Gundams and Archons were on stalemate and all withdrew.
Episode 57: The Stand-Off
While the Alliance Fleet was refueling in New Yvais neutral zone, the Union Fleet extracted. Yuri Antonov communicated with Michael Lee Anderson and demanded the reason for mobilization. Michael simply answered, "We know about the Strong Bow. Dismantle it, and we'll withdraw. We'll wait in New Yvais until you do so."
Vlad carelessly asked how did Mike Know? Mike only shrugged, saying, "How did you know about our secret bunker base? Answer that yourself."
So, the two fleets made a stand-off around New Yvais.
Episode 58: Plans for Love and Peace
Sascha Richter just regained consciousness in the Jotunheim infirmary. Hilda embraced him gladly, as she had taken care of him more intensively than a nurse. Sascha kissed his girlfriend, saying that he was finally free from Vordac Archon. And maybe they would desert the Dawn Revenants and live in peace in seclusion. Hilda Schwann was shocked at first, but remembering the Strong Bow, she thought running away with Sascha would be the best idea. So, she agreed to Sascha's plan, and they began to make the plan to escape from Jotunheim and to hide in the neutral zone, that was New Yvais.
Episode 59: The Spies Were Exposed
Suddenly, several people barged into the infirmary. They were Vlad, Tevaa, and the security guards. Sascha demanded an explanation. Tevaa explained that they had captured the enemy spy back in the Aesis Base who leaked the information about the Strong Bow to the enemy. The spy confessed during interrogation, revealing the whole spy network that involved Hilda Schwann. Hilda was the one who sent the message at the first place. Vlad bowed low, saying that they must arrest Hilda, and resistance meant death.
Episode 59-2: Sorrow Begets Sorrow
Sascha tried to resist, to save Hilda and run away, but Vlad already aimed his gun at Sascha. Because Vlad originally wanted to kill Sascha, his rival. Intuitively, Hilda moved fast and became the human shield for her lover. Vlad's shot hit her instead, fatally. After confessing her genuine love for Sascha, Hilda breathed her last. Sascha cried uncontrollably, adding to his traumas of losing everyone he loved. Tevaa ordered Vlad to be arrested because Vlad was trigger-happy, trying to shoot Sascha instead of the suspect, and the failure to bring the spy, Hilda to justice. Vlad just smirked. His authority as Commander of the Archon Squad dismissed Tevaa's order altogether. He even used his power to tamper the minds of everyone present, that Vlad's shot was a self-defense against Sascha's resistance. But that suggestion was not entirely working on Sascha.
Episode 60: A Revenant No More
Sascha went on a traumatic tantrum. Once again, he had lost the person he loved. He was about to kill Vlad outright, but Yannis came and knocked the back of his neck, and he fell unconscious. Yannis then put Sascha away. Sascha then came to consciousness in Yannis' cabin and was about to attack Yannis blindly. But Yannis held Sascha back, saying that he too had a grudge against Vlad, who replaced him as Commander. So, Yannis offered Sascha to desert the Dawn Revenants.
Episode 60-2: Out From the Lion's Den
Yannis escorted Sascha, who disguised as the janitorial crew with fully covered uniform to sneak out from Jotunheim. But, when Sascha was about to board the waste transport Balsa spaceship going to New Yvais station, Zeyn blocked their way. Zeyn mocked Yannis as an Archon pilot handling sewage. But Yannis wasn't provoked, and he answered that some things were too precious to be wasted because of someone else's fault. Half-jokingly, Zeyn confessed that he too had a grudge against Yuri Antonov for crippling Ahriman. And he didn't want to be blamed for introducing Hilda Schwann to Sascha. He didn't know Hilda was a spy.
Episode 60-3: The Escape Plan
So, the three conspired. Sascha would switch sides to Archelon, and Yannis and Zeyn would switch sides too if their lives were threatened. Yannis handed a written message to Aegia Chandler of AEF, the only one whom he owed his life, whom he could trust and respect in the AEF. Zeyn added that their lives were in Sascha's hands now, adding a sense of purpose in the saddened, traumatized teenager's life.
Episode 60-4: To Put A Wolf Among the Sheep
But, without Sascha, Zeyn, and Yannis knowing it, Vlad, Yuri, and Tevaa deliberately let Sascha go, as they were discussing secretly. Like Pyke, Vlad had planted a "bug" in Sascha's mind. Sascha was useless as an Archon pilot, but he could still serve the DR as a spy, no loyalty necessary. (Note only)But, they didn't know that an inter-realms pilgrim of the fourth level, Robert Chandler was with the AEF.
Episode 61-1: Celestia Club
Aegia Chandler got a tip from Zeyn, through Zeyn's exclusive, secure access to AEF Dirga had given when Zeyn was imprisoned. Sascha was about to switch sides and he would make a rendezvous in the New Yvais, the Celestia Club. Celestia was the name of the legendary diva heroine who stopped the invasion of Archdevil Arachus, as Robert Chandler explained when he accompanied Aegia and Dirga to the club in the New Yvais megapolitan space station colony. So, the rendezvous here would be the re-enactment of Celestia's heroic feat, with Sascha Richter as the hero this time.
Episode 61-2: The Rendezvous
Aegia had met Sascha before, so he spotted the target first. Sascha still showed silence and sadness, added with anger and vengeance. Aegia said, "It's okay. We won't bother you. But if you need a friend in Archelon, you'll find a true one there, no pretenses." Before anyone could respod, the mobster bullies, Brando Eastman, the owner of Celestia Club and his two bodyguards (Uso Brothers) and all the goons with them brawled with the AEF pilots. Dirga and Aegia protected Sascha, so Sascha developed a spark of trust towards the AEF pilots. Robert Chandler stopped and rebuked Brando, telling him that he and the Iluminati who backed him better watch out, or Volsung would take action and bring severe consequences to Brando.
Episode 62: Don't Spoil the Key
It was Sascha Richter's first time coming into the Hyperion carrier spaceship. But the first room he entered there was the interrogation room. Sascha was interrogated by Michael, Andrew, and Robert Chandler. But, instead of being questioned, Sascha was treated with his favorite dish, the Bratwurst and Freidle Tenderloin Steak.
During the conversations, Mike only introduced Sascha to Andrew and the Archelon Everna Force in general, and told Sascha that he would find friends in Gin, Aegia, Dirga, Pyke, and Renee, the Gundam pilots.
Episode 62-2: The Key is Bugged
Sascha was puzzled, why didn't Mike and Andrew ask him about the Strong Bow, or the still unknown Apocalypse Archon? Suddenly, his head was thumping hard. Vlad's voice rang in his mind, the word "Strong Bow" had triggered it. Vlad's voice urged Sascha to give false information about the Strong Bow Hyper Cannon being delayed instead of nearing completion. And the word "top secret project or ultimate weapon" would trigger the second bug, that was to memorize the AEF's top secret info and relay it to the Dawn Revenants through Tevaa. However, the powerful pilgrim, Robert Chandler saw through Vlad's bug. He quickly neutralized Sascha and purged the two bugs from inside Sascha, saying, "I knew it. Sascha's defection was too easy."
Episode 62-3: The End is Near
Robert then talked eye-to-eye with Michael Lee, Andrew Setiadi and Desiree Keynes. Robert said that he had spotted some bugs inside Sascha and Latimer's minds. Those "impurities" made the "angel", Yvariel reject both of them. Crestfallen, Desiree asked, "Who shall pilot the Yvariel then?" Robert answered, "Aegia Chandler." Mike objected, saying that Aegia lacked training and still rather impulsive like a cowboy sometimes in battle. Ginjiro would be a more qualified candidate for it. Robert explained, he only conveyed the Prime Pilgrims' joint decision, not merely his. "You must trust Vadis the Almighty this time," he said, responded with a mutual silence. Robert added, Merlin and Alistair also sent their urgent message that the Strong Bow Mega Cannon was finished. Sascha's defection made Dietrich and the Union redouble their efforts. The Alliance Fleet must engage the Union Fleet at once. The Hyperion must go ahead to the Zemeckis Base and destroy the Strong Bow befor it destroyed the entire Fireheart Colony Cluster and the Moon Colony. So, the AEF and EVA moved out at once.
Episode 63-1: Yvariel Gundam
The Yvariel Gundam was complete. Aegia Chandler was most shocked to be appointed as its pilot. Despite his protests, the decision was final. Latimer, Gin, and Sascha couldn't object the detailed and sound reasoning either. So, Aegia walked into the Yvariel Gundam and "talked" to the Codex System AI interface, which already mimicked his voice. Yvariel was actually the upgrade from Paladin Gundam, and it had Paladin's core. But the AI and "personality" were different. Aegia still said he was not worthy, but Yvariel sought compatibility and pureness too, not just capability and worthiness. The repaired Avalance Gundam would be piloted by Latimer Pyke. And Sascha was in a tight supervision and training by Robert Chandler.
Episode 63-2: The Pieces in Place
Dietrich, who was in the Asteroid Zemeckis was furious. He announced to the DR that he was going to fire the cannon at the Fireheart Clusters, wiping them out in one fell swoop. So, the fleet must hinder the Alliance's fleet at all costs. So, the Jotunheim stood ready and the Archons launched out, including the repaired Ahriman Archon. The Gundams were approaching, so Mephisto, Harbinger, Ashanti, and Ahriman started to engage them.
Episode 63-3: Respect Over Rivalry
In this decisive fight, both Ahriman and Gatotkaca unleashed their best moves. But Dirga and Zeyn who shared the same faith and understanding for Al-Khalik harbored respect to each other. So, they fought fair and square. Gatotkaca didn't exploit Ahriman's disadvantage for having a Phalanx's feet that were the mismatched replacement for Ahriman's melted original feet, slowing down and constricting Ahriman's movements. So, with the beam kerambits threatening the chest cockpit of Ahriman, Gatotkaca said, "Do you yield?" Ahriman responded, "Yes." The black Gundam decided, "You may go, Brother. Just live in peace and prosperity, as you deserve."
After saying thank you, Ahriman Archon fled to the unknown, never to be seen again. The Dawn Revenants would record Ahriman and Zeyn as "missing in action".
Episode 64: Two at the Cost of One
Hachiman, Avalance (Latimer), Gatotkaca, and Vorpal engaged the Archons and Phalanxes just to make way for Hyperion to go through. Alas, Latimer Pyke was unfamiliar with Avalance's characteristics. So, when dueling with Mephisto Archon, he went all out, unleashing the ultimate weapon, the Five Elements Cannon. The shot totally damaged Mephisto Archon, but Mephisto also shot with its ultimate attack (Dark Disintegration), wrecking Avalance totally. The two pilots, Pyke and Vlad ejected from their mobile suits and flew with their jet packs to the nearby safety. Avalance and Mephisto were destroyed.
Episode 65-1: The Breakthrough
At the cost of Avalance, Hyperion finally made a breakthrough. The Gundams moved along with Hyperion while fighting the Archons. So, Mike sent Pyke to the infirmary to treat his injuries. Andrew reminded Mike to preserve energy and fuel, and they needed Agneyastra Grand Cannon to destroy the greater Strong Bow Hyper Cannon. Robert was helping Aegia through the "quick course" to pilot the Yvariel Gundam, being on standby in Hyperion. Andrew, as usual, went on standby in his post in the engine room to manage energy flow.
Episode 65-2: To Know An Angel
Meanwhile, Robert Chandler guided Aegia Chandler to master the Yvariel Gundam with Rob's unconventional way. Aegia wasn't a psychic or had special powers, so Rob showed him the device called the "Psycommu". With that T-shaped device, Aegia could merge his thoughts with Yvariel while controlling it normally, moving as though the Gundam was his own body. Aegia tried it, and Yvariel's limbs and mind were like his own. Aegia even heard Yvariel the Archangel sang his sword's name, "Aschinova, Aschinova..." while he swung it.
Episeode 66-1: Ragnarok (Hyperion vs. Jotunheim)
Hyperion was approaching the vicinity of the Zemeckis Asteroid when the AEF was engaged by the Union's last line of defense, the Dawn Revenants' spaceship fortress, Jotunheim and a battalion of Phalanxes. Hachiman was engaging Harbinger, and Vorpal versus Ashanti.
Episode 66-2: Sascha's Super Sentry
Only Gatotkaca and a commander-type Sentry piloted by Sascha Richter engaged the Phalanx batallion, overcoming the overwhelming odds. Their moves with the beam kerambits and the beam sword were unstoppable. But, Sascha's Sentry stopped when he was met with Harbinger. That made Yannis realize that the ace in that Super-Sentry was Sascha.
Episode 67-1: Gatotkaca's Finest Hour
Gatotkaca Gundam danced around and threatened to destroy Jotunheim Ship, taunting it. Yuri Antonov, out of rage fired the Gjallarhorn Main Cannon at Hyperion. But as Hyperion was too far away, the target ship made a full evasive maneuver and the shot just grazed the starboard. Hyperion didn't return fire as its main target was the Strong Bow. So, Gatotkaca used the Brajamusti Burst and crippled most of the Jotunheim's cannons, including the Gjallarhorn. Disabled, Jotunheim was forced to retreat to the Zemeckis Asteroid.
Episode 68: The Strong Bow
At the top of his wrath, Dietrich ordered the Strong Bow to fire on the Lunar Base and the Fireheart Colony Cluster. But, Yuri and Vlad came and urged Dietrich to abandon the Zemeckis Base along with the Apocalypse Archon. Dietrich strongly declined at first. Paul Guzabe volunteered to stay behind and make sure the Strong Bow made the shot after it finished charging from the Sun. And so, with a heavy heart, Dietrich agreed to board the Jotunheim with the Apocalypse Archon and made their escape.
Episode 69-1: The Guardian Angel
The Jotunheim departed from Zemeckis Asteroid, and the Strong Bow was already beginning its firing sequence. Seeing that, Yvariel Gundam launched from Hyperion and got in line with the Strong Bow Cannon's line of fire. Targets locked, charging complete, Paul Guzabe ordered to shoot a massive blast from the Strong Bow. Yvariel blocked the brunt of it, flipping his wings like a mirror to hopefully block and reflect the great blast. But Yvais could only block a third of the blast, and the rest blasted on with only about ten degrees angle bias.
Episode 69-2: Agneyastra
Two-thirds of the blast flew on and hit the Vyrkova Sector of Fireheart Colony Cluster, but the damage was not severe. In retaliation, the Hyperion fired its main cannon, Agneyastra.
Although the power output of Agneyastra was lower than that of the Strong Bow, it was enough to destroy the big cannon nestled inside the Zemeckis Asteroid. Just before the blast reached the asteroid, Paul Guzabe muttered his last words with a smile, "The Almighty Asvai hath destined. Let there be peace."
Episode 70: Apocalypse Now
Seeing the results, Dietrich was most wrathful. He blamed Paul Guzabe for deliberately missing his mark. Tevaa, in defense of her mentor, rebuked that Paul only pulled the trigger and it was Dietrich who did all the trajectory calculations. Yuri Antonov added instead of blaming others, better make the next move.
The problem was: The Strong Bow had failed and was destroyed. But the real ultimate weapon was the Apocalypse Archon. Yannis retrieved the enemy data and was most shocked. There was a significant drop of population in the Fireheart Cluster and Archelon Moon Colony. It turned out that the inhabitants were evacuated, so the casualties were kept to the minimum.
Episode 71: Next Target: Everna
Vlad added from the algorithm that the Alliance had evacuated the colony and cluster citizens, and judging from the abnormally frequent shuttle flights, and the simple logic, the destination of evacuation was back into Terra Everna. So, the Jotunheim was also heading to Everna. After spotting the locations of the refugee camps, Dietrich directed the whole force to attack the Wushu mainland and the Shima Archipelago to annihilate the Alliance and the refugees. Dietrich had appointed Vlad Cjescu, the best pilot for the job to fly the Apocalypse Archon. Yannis and Tevaa didn't have a choice but to agree with Dietrich's decision.
Episode 72: Atmospheric Entry
Robert Chandler conveyed Merlin Azrabel's message to the Alliance that Dietrich, in his desperation wanted to destroy the Alliance directly, by eliminating the refugees and the nations that contained them. The AEF forces in Everna had already been mobilized to intercept the Union forces. So, the Hyperion and the space Sentry force must catch up and help the Evernian units by entering the planet through its atmosphere. The Hyperion entere with the thermal dampener layer on its lower part first, and with moderate speed to minimize the atmospheric contact that can cause overheat and burning on any metal. It became extremely hot in the bridge. But in the end, all arrived safely. The Hyperion landed on the ocean to cool the scorched bottom part.
Episode 73: To Shima with a Kiss
The Satellite-driven radars tracked the Dawn Revenants, and they were heading to one of the refugee camps near the City of Daitoshi in Shima Empire. Daitoshi City was the center of JinCorp, one of the Alliance's main corporate suppliers. Anticipating the battle with the enemies, the Gundam pilots scrambled into their Gundams. As this might be their last mission and survival was uncertain, Renee Lacroix accompanied Aegia Chandler to the Yvariel Gundam cockpit. She expressed her admiration to Aegia's heroism for diverting the Strong Bow shot. She kissed Aegia's lips, and Aegia kissed back. Renee loved Aegia for being thoughtful and kind to her, not because of Aegia's heroism.
Episode 74: Terror from the Sky and Sea
For the native Shimanese, the mobile suits assaulting towards the refugee camps not too far from the outskirts of Daitoshi City were like a band of kaijus, the giant monsters from Shimanese mythology.
From Daitoshi City the Sentry squad from the big conglomerate, JinCorp, along with the national guards intercepted the Dawn Revenants led by Harbinger and Ashanti Archons, and the JinCorp troops were decimated rapidly. Thank goodness, help came immediately as the Gundams and Sentries, namely Hachiman, Vorpal, Gatotkaca, and the Sentries including the three Commander-type "Super Sentries" piloted by Robert Chandler, Latimer Pyke, and Sascha Richter. The tide was about to change.
Episode 75: Hachiman vs. Harbinger Finale
As the native of Shima, Ginjiro Keita in Hachiman took the lead. In addition, Hachiman Gundam was built in Daitoshi City by JinCorp, courtesy of Mizuki Jinbei, the great-granddaughter of the once-villainous and the greatest JinCorp CEO, Noboru Jinbei, and granddaughter of Misaka Jinbei, Noboru's successor.
Hachiman engaged the Harbinger Archon, the long-time rival. In that decisive fight, both duelists' mobile suits were heavily damaged. And the final outcome would be determined by one sword clash. Hachiman's beam katana versus Harbinger's beam saber. In the end, Harbinger fell down and exploded, only Hachiman was left standing. Yannis ejected from Harbinger Archon and fled to safety.
Author's Note: JinCorp would use the remains of Harbinger, Avalance, and all else to develop the second generation Gundams. Spoiler: Byakko, Qilin, Seiryu, Genbu, and Suzaku Gundams for Season Two. That was Mizuki Jinbei's plan.
Episode 76: Vorpal vs. Ashanti Finale
In this fight, both mobile dolls were so evenly matched. Fortunately, Tevaa N'yala was a sensible huntress, she only predicted Vorpal's moves and caught "the ballerina". Under the mercy of Ashanti and her beam dagger, Vorpal pleaded that they needed to stop the Apocalypse Archon. Tevaa asked, "Why?" Renee explained that she just received information, that according to the Prime Pilgrims, Apocalypse Archon was so massive and volatile. Even the mentally strongest pilot of them all, Vlad Cjescu couldn't control it. Vlad would let it rampage and destroy enemies and allies alike, indiscriminantly. Tevaa knew that Renee didn't lie, judging from her breathing and heart beat sounds. So, they pretended to fight on until Apocalypse Archon went berserk.
Episode 77: Five Times an Archon
Apocalypse Archon finally launched from Jotunheim in five parts. Each part was a size of an Archon. So, assembled together, the overall size was five times bigger than all other mobile suits. Normally, five people must pilot the Archon. But Vlad controlled all the five units with his superior minds prompting the AI system in each part. So, the five units aligned and merged in mid-air perfectly and landed as the ultimate mobile suit, Apocalypse Archon.
Episode 78: Apocalypse Archon
At last, Apocalypse Archon launched from the Jotunheim and flew straight to the refugee camp and Daitoshi City, ready to reduce both to ashes. Dietrich had told Vlad to hold the Daitoshi City hostage only, to force Shima Empire and JinCorp to switch sides and join the Union. But Apocalypse, with Vordac's core had a will of his own. The AI was so powerful that it resisted all Vlad's attempts to control him, and forced Vlad to just "play along" instead.
Vlad agreed, because that was his personal agenda from the start. He wanted to stop the conflicts and "postpone" the Space Race, but in his own way. The existence of the Union and the Alliance was a big mistake. All Everna must be united before they colonize the space. If not based on the common sense and purpose, it must be based on terror and fear. And Shima Nation was going to be the sacrifice to show Vlad's authority, so he would rise to be the leader of all Everna.
Episode 79: The Total Chaos
Hearing Vlad's proclamation and seeing Apocalypse Archon attacking friend and foe alike, Yuri Antonov and Dietrich were enraged. Yuri immediately diverted the Archons and Phalanxes' attack to stop Apocalypse Archon. Apocalypse Archon went on a rampage. Under a shower of shots, knowing that all the mobile suits were ganging on him, Vlad shot countless rays from his body and wings. The rays damaged the attackers. Even some of the Phalanxes, Sentries, and non-mobile suit units exploded and were destroyed. Seeing that, Yuri realized that he and Dietrich had been fooled by Vlad. "What have we done?" he said.
Episode 80: The Hope of Salvation
At that moment, Yvariel Gundam launched from the Hyperion to meet Apocalypse Archon. Instead of engaging the enemy, Aegia regrouped with Tevaa, Gin, Pyke, Renee, Dirga, Sascha, and Robert first to initiate their tactic. Robert Chandler, through his communication device, sent his message. Gin and Sascha would attack the colossal Archon from the left, Tevaa and Renee from the right, Pyke and Dirga from the back, and Robert and Aegia would confront Apocalypse frontally.
Episode 81: Out of the Box for an Opening
Despite of its gargantuan size, the Apocalypse Archon was a powerhouse. Despite being attacked from four sides by eight mobile suit aces, Vlad still showed magnificent attack and defense, as though his Archon was perfect, without known weak points.
So, Robert Chandler taunted Vlad with his experience of defeating the real Vordac the Dark Overlord, Gregor Engelsohn, even the Prime Pilgrim, Nostradamus. So, no matter how powerful the darkness was, the Forces of Light would stand united and always prevail. Vlad's emotion as a young man was provoked, so Robert said, "Time to commence the 'hit-and-switch' tactic!"
Episode 82: Hit-and-Switch
Apocalypse Archon was indeed stronger than eight mobile suits or five Gundams and Archons altogether. But, Robert turned the tide. He instructed the groups of two to attack in turns. Robert used this tactic on many different opponents. And he used it with the assistance of his fellow Pilgrims, especially Arcel Raine, Cristophe Deveraux. Aegia and Rob made the first attack. Apocalypse retaliated on them and the second group, Gin and Sascha attacked. The same with group three: Dirga and Pyke; and group four: Renee-Tevaa. At first, the tactic worked, and Vlad got confused and got countless damage. At the peak of his wrath, Apocalypse unleashed his ultimate move again. Beam rays from every point of his body hit almost all the opponents. Robert's plan seem failed, but it was actually to open the path for Yvariel. So now Yvariel could duel Apocalypse with an even footing.
Episode 83: The Divine Judgment
All mobile suits except Yvariel and Apocalypse were heavily damaged, so they must move back and let the two ultimate mobile suits fight with everything they had. Aegia still remembered Vlad's weak heart, that made him tend to protect his left side. Like that time he defeated Mephisto, this time Aegia fought the same way. But, Vlad tricked Aegia as he had trained to overcome that weakness. Trapped, Aegia must let Vlad's Deathblade Beam Greatsword damage his super-shield to avoid being split into two. Yvariel was knocked back.
Vlad used the gigantic wings to absorb energy to shot the ultimate blast that would reduce Daitoshi City to ashes. Aegia also used Yvariel's wings to absorb energy and blocked the Apocalypse's Blast. At first, Vlad's blast was stronger than Aegia's. But, unexpectedly, Robert Chandler channeled his energy, along with the collective energy from the Gundams and Archons, into Yvariel Gundam. That sudden boost made Yvariel push the energy back and severely damaged Apocalypse.
Episode 84: The Angelic Sacrifice
Despite being disfigured and almost destroyed, the Apocalypse Archon was still moving with the great sword in hand, hell-bent to destroy everything in his path. Seeing that, Yvariel Gundam ejected Aegia by force. Yvariel's AI Codex System, amplified with Psycommu was also calibrated with Avalance's AI, which also contained the algorithms and biorythms from the late Yuan Lei, Avalance's initial pilot. Yuan Lei was as though back alive just to do a final sacrifice, telling Aegia Chandler to keep on living and continue the struggle for the true peace. Yvariel then plunged himself into Apocalypse. As it went head-to-head with Vlad, Yvariel's voice sounded, "Sascha Richter has told me everything. So, this is for Hilda Schwann."
Vlad tried to push Yvariel away, in vain. Yvariel exploded its own core, and the two ultimate mobile suits exploded in mid-air, along with Vlad's curses to defy his own fate.

Episode 88: The Interlude
The four Prime Pilgrims of Everna: Alistair Kane, Merlin Azrabel, Nostradamus, and Eve had a meeting in a luxurious hall in Levides Palace in Myrcalia, the Capital of Arcadia Republic. Nostradamus cynically praised the Alliance for thwarting the Union's entire plan... with help from the Prime Pilgrims. Merlin praised the Union back that they've enlisted a Prime Pilgrim's DIRECT help to develop such godly devices as the Strong Bow Mega Cannon and the Apocalypse Archon. Nostradamus snarled, "Prove that." Eve calmed him down, saying, "No worries. I still have many tricks under my sleeve. Besides, I need to avenge my protege Vlad's death, you know."
Alistair Kane rebuked, "You've violated the Prime Pilgrim Codex too many times, my friends. If that's the way it is, it's time for us to get involved further too." Merlin only shrugged and added the final punch line. "Remember. When a devil rises, an angel will stop him."
